Managing administrators

The Administrators node may be used to define the administrators who may manage JSCAPE MFT Synchronizer.

You may add, edit or delete an administrative user account.

 

Adding an administrative user account

 

To add a new administrator, click the Add button.

 

When the Add Administrator dialog appears, fill up the following fields and configure the following settings:

 

Name - The name associated with this administrative user account

Login - The login name for this administrative user account. This will be the value entered into the Username field during login.

Password - The password associated with this admin user account

Password check - The same value entered into the Password field

Email - The email address associated with this admin user account. If the email services is enabled, this administrator will receive email notifications through this email address.

 

 

Can manage administrators - If checked, this admin user can manage other admin user accounts

Enabled - If checked, this admin user account will be enabled and available for use

Click the Add button to finalize the admin user account creation process or Cancel to cancel.

 

 

Editing an existing administrative user account

 

To edit an existing admin user account, select the account you want to change and then click the Edit button.

 

When the Edit Administrator dialog appears, change the values as desired.

Click the Save button to apply the changes or Cancel to cancel.

 

 

Deleting an existing administrative user account

 

To delete an existing admin user account, select the account you want to delete and the click the Delete button.

 

When prompted, click OK to confirm or Cancel to cancel.
