User interface

The HTTP File Upload Applet user interface consists of the following:

Current directory

Displays the current directory and filter used when displaying files.

Local system

Displayed icons for your desktop and other drives and network devices accessible.

Current directory listing

Displays a list of files and folders in the current directory matching the provided filter.

Controls

Displays set of buttons for controlling which files to add to the upload queue, remove from the upload queue, upload files from queue to server and control HTTP proxy settings.

Upload queue

Displays list of files currently queued for upload to server.

Preview window

Displays preview of currently selected file in Current directory listing or Upload queue.  Preview window supports preview of most image types including .gif, .jpg, .png and .bmp.  Selected non-image files will display the appropriate file icon.
