Overview

Server keys are required for encrypting communications between a client and the server when using secure file transfer protocols such as FTPS (FTP over SSL), SFTP (FTP over SSH) and HTTPS.  In the context of the Key Manager, a server key consists of a private key, certificate and public key.

Note

Some server keys are installed by default with JSCAPE MFT Server.  These are meant only for testing purposes and should NOT be deployed to a production environment.
