js-addadmin

The js-addadmin command may be used to add an administrator in MFT Server.

Usage: js-addadmin <options>

Options:

[-file <file>] configuration file

-username <username> administrator username

-password <password enclosed in single quotes> 'administrator password'

[-role <name>] administrator role

[-sa] system administrator flag

[-db | -api] database or API access flag; default: -api

-h display this help menu

The -db option should only be used for emergency recovery purposes (e.g. lost administrative password).  When using this option the utility will add an administrator to the database directly without using the API or existing credentials.  When using this option it is important that MFT Server be shutdown.  Failure to do so may result in potential file locking issues.
