Health check execution

Top  Previous  Next

The health check report is generated using the combined efforts of MFT Monitor and the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform.

MFT Monitor collects and pushes the data to the AWS cloud, and the AWS cloud processes the data and generates a health check report.

Below you will find more details regarding this process.

MFT Monitor:

Daily at 12:00am, MFT Monitor connects to the target MFT Server or MFT Gateway system and collects the required data  The data is stored in the local database in a JSON format. This is done for all health checks configured in the health checks table.
The local JSON data is pushed to the AWS cloud.
oThe Health Service Results table provides status information as the above processes (collecting and pushing data) are executing.
Daily at 9:00am, MFT Monitor checks to see if there are any health check reports to pull down from the AWS cloud. Any new reports retrieved are stored in the local database and listed in the Health Service Reports table.

Both the 12:00am and 9:00am processes run on system schedules that cannot be modified by the end-user.  You can see the read-only schedules by clicking on the Health Service Settings tab.

AWS Cloud:

A separate application running on the AWS cloud service processes the data and generates a report.
The frequency at which reports are generated is determined by Advanced Systems Concepts, Inc.based on their configuration of AWS cloud service settings. This is not user-configurable.
oThe reports are generated daily.
