The Synchronizations module is where you add and create manual or automated synchronizations as well as specify each synchronization's parameters, like:

hosts involved in the synchronization
mode of synchronization
schedule
alerts

JSCAPE MFT Synchronizer can support the following synchronization configurations: spoke to spoke, spoke to hub, hub to spoke, and hub to hub. In all configurations, JSCAPE MFT Synchronizer serves as the hub.

Defining Account A

In the context of the Synchronizations module, Account A refers to the synchronization source or where you are synchronizing from. As implied in the configurations mentioned, the source can either be a hub or a spoke. To indicate that Account A is a spoke, Account A must be enabled, and to indicate that it is a hub, Account A must be disabled.

Defining Account B

In the context of the Synchronizations module, Account B refers to the synchronization target or where you are synchronizing to. As implied in the configurations mentioned, the target can either be a hub or a spoke. To indicate that Account B is a spoke, Account B must be enabled, and to indicate that it is a hub, Account B must be disabled.

You may use this table as a guide in setting up Account A and Account B:
